Simon Fraser University's Political Science Student Union is hosting a debate for council candidates at the Burnaby campus on Wednesday.

The debate, moderated by political cartoonist and pundit J. J. McCollough, takes place at Saywell Hall - room 10081 - at the university, 888 University Dr. at 7:30 p.m.

TEAM Burnaby and the Burnaby Municipal Green candidates had confirmed they would attend as of Monday morning, according to Sam Reynolds, the student union's communications officer.

The Burnaby Citizens Association candidates were already booked to attend another event and would not be available, according to the party's communications manager, Michelle Boudreau.
