It's been a stellar regular season and playoffs on the gridiron to date for the St. Thomas More Knights (STM).
And the Burnaby school is looking to keep the momentum going this weekend in the semi-finals of the B.C. AAA senior varsity football championships.
STM is scheduled to face G.W. Graham Secondary (Chilliwack) at BC Place on Saturday (Nov. 26) at 4 p.m.
The winner will face-off against either Carson Graham or Vancouver College in the final on Dec. 3.
The Knights' regular season was impressive, going 6-0 and finishing atop of the AAA central division standings with wins over Mt. Boucherie (38-14), Centennial (24-0), Terry Fox (21-15), Seaquam (29-0), Lord Tweedsmuir (21-14) and a 52-0 thumping of New Westminster.
STM dropped a pre-season game 38-13 to G.W. Graham, who are also the defending provincial champions.
The Grizzlies finished atop the AAA east division with a 5-1 record, securing wins over Abbotsford (70-12), Kelowna (48-7), Mt. Boucherie (69-7), WJ Mouat (48-16) and Sardis (15-0).
The lone loss in the campaign came during the regular season opener against Vancouver College (28-23).
