As Vancouver police unveiled their latest initiative, transit shelter posters asking for the public's help in identifying potential rioters from last summer's Stanley Cup riot, they also announced that Crown counsel has approved 18 more charges against seven suspected rioters.

Among the group of seven now facing charges are two Burnaby youths, who cannot be named because of their age.

A 16-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, each from Burnaby, are facing charges of mischief and participating in a riot in connection with the Stanley Cup riot on June 15 of last year.

According to the Vancouver police, that brings the total to 177 approved criminal charges against 67 suspected rioters.

The Integrated Riot Investigation Team has recommended 432 criminal charges against 150 suspected rioters.
