Rainy, slick conditions are causing havoc on Burnaby roads this afternoon.
Flash rain and hail hit Burnaby multiple times later in the afternoon and is believed to have been the cause of at least one crash.
Gaglardi Way southbound was closed to traffic at around 5:20 p.m. on Thursday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in the curve just before Broadway.
It has been traffic chaos as vehicles coming north up Burnaby Mountain have had to turn around and come back down.
Multiple police are on the scene and an investigation is underway. The presence of an ambulance indicates at least one of the people involved in the crash has been injured.
