There are two new half-millionaires out of Burnaby.
According to PlayNow.com, a pair of tickets purchased in the city for the Lotto Max draws on Feb. 16 and March 1 correctly matched all four Extra Prize numbers to win $500,000 each.
The Feb. 16 winning digits are as follows:
- 7, 12, 79 and 86
This was the week the nation-wide Lotto Max jackpot was worth an estimated $65 million, but there were no apparent winners. There were also eight $1-million Maxmillion prizes.
The March 1 numbers are:
- 23, 47, 67 and 91
The main prize was worth an estimated $15 million.
It's not known, as of this publication, March 5, where the winning tickets were bought or if both six-figure cheques been claimed.
"All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize," the BC Lottery Corporation has previously stated.
"The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners' name(s) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize."
