Burnaby RCMP are asking for public help in their investigation of the deaths of a man and a woman whose bodies were found in a vehicle parked near the intersection of Alpha Avenue and Venables Street Monday afternoon.
Police were called to the scene near Alpha Secondary school about 1:45 p.m., RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Michael Kalanj said in a release.
“Police secured the scene and will remain in the area as the investigation continues,” Kalanj said.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) was notified, and took over the investigation.
RCMP said investigators are looking for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam video. Anyone with information is asked to contact the IHIT Information Line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or by email at [email protected].
