A driver need to be cut out of a vehicle after crashing into the backyard of a house in Burnaby.
At 3:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon, Burnaby crews responded to a house on Ridgelawn Drive for a car accident.
When crews arrived they found a vehicle upside down against a house with an elderly woman trapped inside the vehicle.
Firefighters had to cut apart the car to get the woman free. Paramedics transported her to hospital with serious injuries.
Luckily, nobody else was injured.
