The Bulldogs lost 78-70 to No. 6-ranked Kitsilano Blue Demons in the consolation final at Balmoral Secondary on Saturday.

Byrne Creek's Kennedy George led all scorers with 24 points, while teammate David Majstorovic chipped in with 16 points.

George was later named a first team tournament all star.

Kitsilano's big men, Luka Zaharijevic and Dawson Perrin, registered 21 and 14 points, respectively, for the Blue Demons.

The Bulldogs dropped their semifinal against unranked runner-up Mt. Douglas, 90-75.

No. 4 Pitt Meadows defeated Mt. Doug 60-45 in the championship final.

Second team all-star Jada Lado was named player of the game in Byrne Creek's opening 74-52 win over Dover Bay.
