CALGARY — The Calgary Flames have signed goaltender Owen Say to a one-year, two-way contract, the NHL team announced Monday.

The contract kicks in next season and is worth US$872,500 at the NHL level.

Say, from London, Ont., posted a 10-15-0 record with a .920 save-percentage and a 2.82 goals-against average with the University of Notre Dame in 2024-25.

Say’s .920 save-percentage ranked third in the NCAA's Big 10 conference while his 829 were second-most behind Flames prospect and Penn State netminder Arsenii Sergeev.

He spent the previous two seasons with Mercyhurst College.

The 23-year-old played junior hockey with the BCHL’s Salmon Arm Silverbacks and the NOJHL’s Powassan Voodoos.
