Burnaby resident Audrey Kozdron never misses a chance to take her grandkids to Burnaby Lake.
That’s especially true for the grandkids visiting from out of town. She likes to take them to feed the ducks.
On this most-recent visit, Kozdron’s family visiting from Houston, Texas got a special treat with the appearance of Burnaby’s mysterious Mandarin duck – known by locals as Trevor - which spreads its time between Burnaby and Deer Lakes.
“My granddaughter, Isabel Johnson, was so excited,” Kozdron said. “Especially after hearing me tell them stories about it since it was first spotted.”
Trevor’s fame just keeps spreading.
