Dear Editor: Where are the paid work experience programs that give people the work experience they need? I remember taking a job training program called THEO B.C. in 2004. I did a two-month work experience at Value Village. I was hired in April 2004. This was one of the best job training programs I had taken.
There aren't any more of them around, and we need more programs like this.
Instead of government spending elsewhere, spend on job training programs with the work experience.
