My first question is why does Burnaby City Hall need to relocate? Wouldn’t it be more feasible to remain where it is and invest in making it sustainable?
If a move was to be seriously considered, perhaps this might be the time.
However, I do agree that Metrotown is not the place to set their sites as the traffic and parking are a nightmare already. Someone suggested the Royal Oak and Kingsway location where the former Safeway store once stood. It’s an ideal location for parking and building if this is actually being considered at all, which I’m sure it is.
I say "pooh pooh" on Metrotown and "woot woot" on the former Safeway location.
