Thanks for the article about the Trans Mountain Pipeline's ballooning costs.

"The government would need to write off more than $14 billion in assets." Yeah, I expect we will.

In future can you please emphasize that "the government" is taxpayers, and divide the billions of dollars by the 37 million people in Canada. This helps people realize how much a billion dollars means to them individually.

Example: The government may need Canadian taxpayers to write off $14 billion in assets, averaging $380 from every Canadian, about $1,500 for a family of four.
