Dear Editor:
Re: Does farmers' market need to move?, Burnaby NOW, Sept. 28.
Upon reading the article in the Burnaby NOW with regards to the location of the Burnaby farmers' market, I am of the opinion that the market would better serve itself, and the public, if the 2012 location was entirely different.
The city hall and Burnaby Village Museum, I feel, are far too isolated. It is necessary to drive to both.
Relocating to an available spot such as the corner of Willingdon and Albert in North Burnaby would be very accessible to a greater population who could not only drive but more importantly walk to the market.
I realize that the city hall and museum are more central, but perhaps due to the size of Burnaby, an alternating north and south location may prove a good solution.
