Dear Editor:

Re: Campaign targets Lennikov - again, Burnaby NOW, April 11.

This campaign by the Ukrainian Canadian Civil Liberties Association has got to stop. The tone of the news article is harsh, showing no compassion for the Lennikov family. His wife and son have suffered enough pain, heartache and grief to last a lifetime. No compassion is given by the UCCL of what will happen to his wife and son.

His wife without a husband, a son without his father. I totally support Patricia Muss for her letter to the editor (Hatred is uncalled for, April 13). This family has suffered enough pain and grief, and it's time this ended and time for this family to have some peace and happiness.

How much more can this family take? The comment "I hope he finds Jesus" shows no respect of my Lord and no respect for those of us who are Christians. Would the UCCLA give me their secret for being the perfect human being?
