Six real estate offices in Burnaby are collecting gently used blankets, sleeping bags, warm jackets, clothing and new socks and underwear for the homeless.
The 18th annual Realtors Care Blanket Drive runs from Nov. 26 to Dec. 3, according to a press release from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.
The blanket drive collects enough donations to help about 20,000 people annually, according to the release, and has helped at least 185,000 people since 1995.
The locations in Burnaby are: Coldwell Banker-Love Realty at 5489 Kingsway; Prudential Sterling Realty at 207-3355 North Rd.; RE/ MAX Central locations at 3906 Hastings St. and 1-5050 Kingsway; Sutton Centre Realty at 105-3790 Canada Way; and Sutton Group-Priority Realty at 7348 Kingsway.
