Popular singer Cj set to perform at Grand Villa Casino in early September

A world-famous performer will be on stage in Burnaby in early September for one night of Bollywood-style entertainment.

Charenjeet, known as Cj, is an awardwinning performer, singer and recording artist who has performed his unique brand of Indian music worldwide.

Cj is well known not just for his work in the Bollywood movie scene but also Hollywood, with movie and TV credits in Eat Pray Love, Passion, Damages, Outsourced and more.

He has trained under famous Indian music teachers including Pandit Jagdish Mohan Ju, of Kirana Gharana in Gandarva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi. His performances include classic favourites from Mohamed Rafi to the popular Bhangras of Daler Mehndi.

His music is an insight into the best beats of Indian and Pakistani musical traditions.

Cj will be performing at the Grand Villa Casino and Delta Burnaby Hotel and Conference Centre on Sept. 4, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and show at 8 p.m.
