Burnaby City Hall will turn red for 211 Day

Burnaby City Hall will light up red on Feb. 11.

Multiple landmarks around B.C., including Burnaby, will be illuminated in red on Feb. 11 to mark 211 Day.

2-1-1 is a free, confidential service connecting people to essential resources, including food banks, mental health support, financial assistance and legal resources.

Those who are looking for help can call/text 2-1-1 or visit bc.211.ca to connect with a trained resource navigator. 

Help is available 24/7, 365 days a year, in more than 240 languages. 

“2-1-1 is a lifeline for people facing challenges in their lives,” United Way BC contact centre manager Madeleine Eagleton said in a news release. 

“We provide personalized support, helping individuals navigate available services before their situations reach a crisis point. By listening, asking the right questions, and guiding people to the best resources, we’re able to offer critical help when it’s needed most.”
