Good news continues in Burnaby and across the province for COVID-19 infections.
According to the latest Geographic Distribution of COVID-19 by Local Health Area of Case Residence for June 6 to 12, 2021, Burnaby recorded less than 50 new cases, coming in at 44.
The data is released by the BC Centre for Disease Control.
Surrey continues to be the hot spot of B.C., recording 172 cases during the same time period.
In other BCCDC data, the COVID-19 Surveillance Dashboard data for June 8 to 14, 2021 shows all four quadrants in Burnaby continuing to see declines as first-dose vaccination rates are levelling off.
Burnaby's latest regional numbers for June 8 to 14 are as follows. Case rates are new cases per 100,000 people by local health area and community health service area.
