Burnaby man, 31, identified as victim in Alberta homicide

A body found about 230 kilometres north of Edmonton in February has been identified as Connor Hayden Reese.

Police have released a photo of a pickup truck associated with Connor Hayden Reese, a Burnaby man found dead in a rural area north of Edmonton last month.

Police have identified a 31-year-old Burnaby man as the victim of a homicide in Alberta last month.

On Feb. 26 at about 4:15 p.m., RCMP in Boyle, Alta., about 220 kilometres north of Edmonton, responded to a report of human remains found in a rural area, according to an RCMP news release.

Police have now identified the victim as Connor Hayden Reese and released a photo of a pickup truck associated with him.

Investigators believe Reese was in the area of Fort McMurray, Alta. just hours before his body was found and are looking for surveillance footage.
