Police have identified a 31-year-old Burnaby man as the victim of a homicide in Alberta last month.
On Feb. 26 at about 4:15 p.m., RCMP in Boyle, Alta., about 220 kilometres north of Edmonton, responded to a report of human remains found in a rural area, according to an RCMP news release.
Police have now identified the victim as Connor Hayden Reese and released a photo of a pickup truck associated with him.
Investigators believe Reese was in the area of Fort McMurray, Alta. just hours before his body was found and are looking for surveillance footage.
Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP at 780-788-4000.
