Burnaby resident Gia Hau Liang couldn't believe his luck.
And he's turning some of that luck into a meaningful contribution for young kids in need this holiday season.
Liang won $749,136.08 from BCLC's MegaJackpots Cleopatra slot game and discovered he'd won while he was at home on Oct. 27.
When he realized he'd won, he was "so excited" and "shocked" for a while and couldn't wait to share the news with his wife and daughter.
"They couldn't believe I won that much," Liang said in a news release today, Nov. 26.
Liang plans to take his family on a dream vacation to Mexico, pay for his daughter's school tuition and make a donation to BC Children's Hospital.
"I cannot believe it," Liang reiterated.
