Burnaby RCMP search for missing elderly man

The Burnaby RCMP is asking the public for help in locating 78-year-old Burnaby man, Stanley Polsom. Polsom was last seen at the Sapperton SkyTrain Station in New Westminster on May 19. He was reported missing to police on May 21.

The Burnaby RCMP is asking the public for help in locating 78-year-old Burnaby man, Stanley Polsom. Polsom was last seen at the Sapperton SkyTrain Station in New Westminster on May 19. He was reported missing to police on May 21.

The Burnaby resident is known to frequent Lougheed Mall and the McDonald's restaurant on North Road and Austin Avenue in Coquitlam, according to the police.

He also frequently uses public transit. "It is unusual for Polsom to go missing," the RCMP media release states. He was last seen wearing black runners, beige pants, a blue short-sleeve golf shirt, a brown suede jacket and pulling a small blue carry-on suitcase.

He has grey hair, is 175 centimetres (5'6") tall, weighs 82 kilograms (180 pounds) and has brown eyes. Police are asking anyone with information on Polsom to contact the Burnaby RCMP Missing Person Unit at 604-294-7922.
