Keian Blundell passed away in 2014 at just six-years-old after battling cancer, but his memory and legacy continue to make an impact.
The Burnaby RCMP is once again hosting Keian's Holiday Wish Toy Drive to support sick kids during the holiday season.

"Keian passed away in 2014 at just six-years-old after bravely battling cancer, but he made a big impact in his short life," a Burnaby RCMP release states.
"Burnaby RCMP continues to honour Keian’s wish of sharing love and joy with children facing life-threatening illnesses by collecting donations for BC Children’s Hospital and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice."
Mounties will be collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys plus cash and gift cards during three Burnaby events:
- Friday, Nov. 29 (today) - Toys R Us Station Square from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (6200 McKay Ave.)
- Friday, Dec. 6 - Lougheed Shopping Centre from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (9855 Austin Rd.)
- Saturday, Dec. 7 - Lougheed Shopping Centre from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (9855 Austin Rd.)
Donations can also be dropped off at the Burnaby RCMP detachment during regular business hours until Dec. 10.
General service hours are Monday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 6355 Deer Lake Ave.
For those who would prefer to donate online, Keian's family has also set up an Amazon Wish List.
“Every year this toy drive and the amazing generosity of our community spreads happiness to sick kids and their families over the holiday season,” Burnaby RCMP Youth Section Sft. Kelly Basi added.
“We are proud to help carry on Keian’s legacy of giving and brightening the lives of others.”
