It appears a popular café in The Amazing Brentwood is "temporarily closed."
Gram Café and Dessert, best known for its Japanese soufflé pancakes, recently posted the update on its Burnaby location (1227-4580 Brentwood Blvd.) on its website.
It's not known, as of this publication, Oct. 26, for how long the business will stay closed or if it plans on reopening altogether.
The NOW has reached out to Gram for more information, but have yet to respond.
The Metro Vancouver chain's Brentwood mall stop opened in January 2022.
Gram has been praised for its thick, fluffy, eggy Japanese "soufflé" pancakes, as well as its stuffed "Premium Smile" pancakes, pancakes loaded with sweet or savoury toppings or stuffed with fillings, bubble tea drinks and soufflé pancake ice cream sandwiches.
It also had online ordering available for Burnaby foodies.
