One of Burnaby's popular bubble tea shops is closing its doors early next month.
The Malaysian-based Chatto Tea & Coffee, known for its unique tea and coffee offerings announced they will be closing doors in September through Instagram.
The popular bubble tea spot located in the Metrotown area will be open for business until Sept. 10.
"This decision is undoubtedly difficult for us," the post said.
"With an extremely heavy heart, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your support in the past. Despite it was just a short 18 months running Chatto Tea & Coffee, it definitely has been a pleasure serving everyone of you, the relationship that we have built and the happy faces we have served, we will keep these memories for life."
While the NOW has reached out to the establishment for a comment of why they are closing, the community has already come together to show their support for the local business.
"Sorry to hear this, I hope you guys stay healthy and positive during this time. We really enjoyed your friendliness, and the high quality ingredients used. Hope to see you again. Please take care," said an Instagram user on their post.
