Culture Chats BC is a non-profit which promotes community connections through engagement with the arts.

Local non-profits are teaming up to host a business expo this month in Edmonds.

Culture Chats BC Association and United Way BC are inviting entrepreneurs, business owners and newcomers with business ideas they want to bring to life in Burnaby’s Edmonds neighbourhood to network and learn more about doing business in South Burnaby.

“Networking is a great way to meet potential clients, progress your career or grow your personal brand in the local community,” said Asmita Lawrence, director of Culture Chats and a member of the Burnaby Edmonds Voluntary Steering Committee, in a press release.

The steering committee is hosting business events to support the development of a potential business improvement association in the future.

The event will include icebreaker games, facilitated networking sessions and light refreshments, as well as a speakers panel.
