A summer celebration that includes all things fun — carnival games, food trucks, live entertainment and a movie — is returning to Burnaby next week.
The annual Willingdon Community Fair will be returning to the neighbourhood on Aug. 30 from 5 to 10 p.m.
This year, the family-friendly event will have plenty of community booths, according to the city's website — including classic cars, an earthquake simulator, bouncy castle and dinosaurs.
Folks will also be able to enjoy BAG on a Bike, face painting, have delicious food from the food trucks present on site and listen to live music by SPENDO from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.. and again from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.
The free evening at the Willingdon Community Centre, located at 1491 Carleton Ave., will culminate with an 8 p.m. screening of Space Jam: A New Legacy.
