The Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre hosted a beautiful weekend event on Sept. 5 and 6: Nikkei Matsuri, a celebration of Japanese culture and heritage.
The event included live performances by artists like Southern Wave Okinawan Music and Dance Society and traditional Japanese dance and taiko drumming.
Event attendees were treated by a variety of food trucks and artisans, and students from the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy were on hand to work on guests.
From now until Feb. 25, you can visit the museum's newest exhibit: Washi 和紙, on Japanese paper art.
