The Burnaby Board of Trade (BBOT) is pleased to announce that Houle Electric will be this year's inductee into the prestigious Burnaby Business Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame induction is a special honour bestowed jointly by the BBOT and the City of Burnaby each year to a widely-recognized, Burnaby-based business that has demonstrated outstanding business success over many years and has had a positive and significant impact on the community.

It all began in 1944 when Lionel Houle and his father opened an electrical store named Houle Electric, to serve the needs of the community of Port Alberni.
After decades of determination and transformational change, the passion and dedication of Houle's founders lives on in the current generation of employees, who believe in delivering safe, sustainable power for the future.

Houle Electric will be formally inducted at the 24th annual Burnaby Business Excellence Awards Gala on Nov. 16.
