One man is dead after a stabbing in Burnaby Monday evening.
Emergency crews were called to the 3800 block of 1st Avenue near Ingleton Avenue at about 6:15 p.m. for reports of a stabbing, according to a Burnaby RCMP news release.
"When officers arrived on scene, they located a male victim on the ground, unconscious, with life-threatening injuries," stated the release.
First responders tried life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the case.
Police are looking for witnesses or anyone with dashcam video in the area between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
