Two men and two women in their 20s have been charged with 28 drug-trafficking and firearm offences related to an alleged Metro Vancouver drug trafficking organization busted by the Burnaby RCMP.

The detachment's drugs and organized crime section conducted a yearlong investigation into the group and executed four search warrants in Burnaby, Vancouver, Delta and Langley, according to a news release Tuesday.

The raids turned up quantities of fentanyl (250.86 grams), methamphetamine (181.78 g), cocaine (519.07 g), Nitazene (28.35 g) and a sheet of LSD tabs, the release said.

Police also seized more than a kilogram of adulterants, cellphones, scales, packaging materials, a radio jammer and nearly $15,000 in cash.

Also recovered was a stolen and loaded Glock handgun that had been modified to be fully automatic, as well as a silencer and ammunition, police said.

"The amount of drugs and weapons taken off our streets as a result of this investigation is substantial," Burnaby RCMP Sgt. Randy Mortensen said in the release. "Our drugs and organized crime section remains committed to combatting the illicit drug trade and the violence that comes with it."
