We're continuing with our popular feature - our staff's Top 5 (Or More) Things To Do This Weekend. For Christmas weekend, we have -

1 Get celebrating Christmas the oldfashioned way. Friday, Dec. 23 is your last chance to catch a Heritage Christmas before the holidays at the Burnaby Village Museum. The museum is at 6501 Deer Lake Ave. and is open from noon to 8 p.m.

2 Get your last-minute shopping done at Metropolis at Metrotown. The mall is open till 11 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23 and 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Metropolis shuts down on Christmas Day but opens again at 8 a.m. for Boxing Day sales.

3 Get spiritual on Friday, Dec. 23, at the Nelson Avenue Community Church open house. There will be games, crafts, refreshment and music from 3 to 6 p.m. The church is at 5825 Nelson Ave. Info: 604-435-4123.

4 Get celebrating Christmas, on Sunday, Dec. 25 at West Burnaby United Church, 6050 Sussex Ave., near Metrotown. There will be carol singing at 10: 30 a.m., service at 11 a.m.

5 Get following a budding superstar. First overall NHL draft pick Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, of North Burnaby makes his first appearance with the Edmonton Oilers in his hometown on Boxing Day against the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena at 7 p.m. Tickets through Ticketmaster.
