Mountain FC won a bronze medal in the boys' under-16 division at the B.C. Soccer provincial futsal championships at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
Fusion FC, a collaboration between Vancouver FC and the Richmond Soccer Association, won three separate B.C. titles, taking the u-14 and u-16 boys' titles, while also winning the girls' u-16 crown.
Futsal is a varient of soccer that is played on a smaller pitch and mainly played indoors. Its name is derived from the Portuguese futebol de salo and the Spanish futbol de salon, which translates to half football or indoor football.
