Simon Fraser University wrestler Helen Maroulis won a silver medal at the 2011 FILA junior world championships in Bucharest, Romania.
Maroulis was runnerup in the women's 55-kilogram weight class, losing a tight match by a decision to Kanako Murata of Japan in the gold-medal match.

In the deciding third period, the score was tied 2-2 with Maroulis holding the tiebreaker, but Murata scored a reversal with 16 seconds left to win the match.
The finish was the third career medal for Maroulis at the junior worlds, adding to the bronze medals she won in 2008 and 2010. She has competed on four U.S. junior world teams, and will be competing at the senior world championships in Istanbul, Turkey in September.

It was Anthony's fourth trip to the junior worlds for the former two-time world junior champion.
