Want to try your hand – or feet – at something new for fall?

The Burnaby International Folk Dancers are inviting people to come check out the club at an open house event on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. It’s a free evening in celebration of the club’s 40th anniversary, and everyone can try learning dances from around the world.

The club meets every Tuesday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Charles Rummel Centre, 3630 Lozells Ave. Beginners are welcome, and no partner or costume is required. Each night has a basic steps lesson from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and dancing from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
