The Burnaby Public Library celebrated its 60th anniversary on Saturday, July 30. To mark the occasion, the Bob Prittie Metrotown branch held a garden party, complete with summer reading suggestions, fun activities, games and crafts for kids. The event is part of a series of public engagement activities to mark six decades of serving readers.
