Get into the holiday mood with a dramatic reading of the Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol this Friday, Dec. 9 at the McGill library branch. There will be choral interludes, performed by library staff and their families and friends. The reading runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is by donation, and $10 is the suggested minimum. Proceeds go to the Burnaby Christmas Bureau, which helps local low-income families with toys and presents during the holiday season. The reading is for adults or kids aged 10 and up.
