Television star Ed Witzke from What's Up, Warthogs! - a Canadian comedy show appearing on Family Channel - made a surprise visit to students at St. Michael's Elementary in Burnaby recently. The visit was part of the Family Channel's annual Bullying Awareness Week campaign, in which young stars from Family travel to schools across the country to host bullying prevention rallies.
Nearly 1,250 students entered to have a rally at their school by submitting an entry detailing what their school does to stand up to bullying. In all, just four schools nationally - including St. Michael's - were chosen from the entries.
