The car-stuffing craze is back and it's coming to Burnaby.
Metropolis at Metrotown is holding a competition dubbed "Stuff the Beetle" on Oct. 29, with the winning team being awarded $10,000 - $5,000 for themselves and $5,000 to give to the charity of their choice.
Those wanting to participate must visit the Metropolis Facebook page at www.facebook.com/metropolisatmet to create a virtual team of 10 friends or more by Oct. 24. Qualifying teams will then be randomly selected to compete in the "Stuff the Beetle" contest on Oct. 29. Regardless of team size, a minimum of 10 members are required to stuff the in-mall Beetle for the contest.
Shoppers at the store can also visit customer service before Oct. 29 to enter to win a brand new Volkswagen Beetle.
