Burnaby's Charles Rummel Centre is getting a new roof, which means there might be some smells but the facility will remain open.
Crews will start on the roof project at 3630 Lozells Ave. as early as Monday, Oct. 21, depending on weather, according to the city's website.
"We will do our best to keep noise and odours to a minimum," stated the website.
"We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!"
The community centre runs a variety of programs and activities.
Heads up! Starting as early as October 21 (weather permitting), crews will be replacing the roof at Charles Rummel. This project is expected to last for about 2 weeks. We will do our best to keep noise and odours to a minimum.
