The City of Burnaby is seeking residents to get involved in their community by joining a local Community Safety Advisory Committee.
The committee works with police and crime reduction staff to brainstorm solutions to community safety challenges, according to the city.
Topics can range from police to fire to emergency preparedness and crime reduction.
Members must commit to a three-year term.
The deadline to apply is Friday, May 31.
