Get ready, grill lovers: Chipotle Mexican Grill is opening a second Burnaby location.
The City of Lougheed development at 3778 Grand Promenade, beside Lougheed mall, will be home to a new Chipotle location in early 2024.
Chipotle signage is now installed on the storefront.
It will be the business' 14th location in B.C., joining one at Burnaby's Metrotown mall.
"Given the rising demand for real, fresh food across Canada, our continued growth in the greater Vancouver area is a top priority for our international strategy,” Anat Davidzon, managing director for Chipotle Canada, said in a statement to the NOW.
"This new location will also bring additional career opportunities to the Lougheed area for residents interested in cultivating a better world through real food."
Chipotle has more than 3,300 restaurants across the Canada, the United States and Europe.
