Sunny Autumn days — and colder nights — coming back to Burnaby

The Burnaby nights ahead of Halloween will send shivers down your spine, according to the latest weather forecast for the city.

Weatherhood is predicting nightly temperatures to drop around freezing, 0°C, this week, starting as early as Thursday, Oct. 26.

However, aside from a rainy Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 24 and 25, the daily forecast is calling for sunny skies and minimal precipitation.

The mercury could rise as high as 10°C starting Friday, Oct. 27, and continuing into the weekend.

For today, Burnaby is currently the warmest spot in Metro Vancouver at just under 11°C.

Weatherhood is calling for periods of rain around the city on Tuesday in the amount of 15 to 20 mm, and may continue on and off until Wednesday afternoon.

Winds may also gust up to 50 km/h from the south coast towards to Burnaby for tomorrow.
